Leveraging the leading disciplinary strength of Hubei Province’s key traditional discipline—Technology Economy and Management—and building on Wuhan University of Technology’s (WUT) three pillar industries, this program was approved as a professional master’s degree authorization point in 2010, with formal enrollment commencing in 2011. The program has established a well-structured faculty team with balanced academic and professional expertise, consisting of 46 full-time and 31 industry-part-time instructors. All faculty members hold senior professional titles, with 70% holding doctoral degrees.

Addressing the needs of the building materials, transportation, and automotive industries and regional economic development, this program adheres to the valuation professional ethics of integrity and due professional care. It aims to cultivate high-level, practice-oriented specialists with strong political awareness and professional competence. Graduates will master foundational knowledge in economics and management, core valuation principles and methodologies, and the ability to identify emerging challenges and innovatively solve real-world valuation problems.

It cultivates outstanding professionals with exemplary ethics and exceptional expertise, striving to become a provincially leading and nationally renowned MV program.
Since its inaugural enrollment in 2011, student intake has steadily increased, stabilizing at approximately 40 annually in recent years.
